Club Championship - Men

Our annual club championship is being held on Saturday the 3rd September, drawn in three balls from 08.00. There is a scratch and a handicap so chances for all to win. Enter in the clubhouse, pay your £3 and give it a go!


Chris Lambert won the scratch competition and Mick Rust won the handicap. Well done and many thatks to all who entered. Great work by Mick Turner in getting so many entries.

Mens KO's 2022

The draw has been done for the three knockout competitions. The player(s) on the top of the match should contact their opponenst with suggestions for dates. The £3 per person entry fee per knock out must be paid before the first match is played Let's have a good and competitive set of matches this year.

NGU Handicap League 2022


We have matches home and away in 2022 against Barnham Broom, Mattishall and Heacham Manor. Four ball better ball, four pairs, handicap index limit of 18. Matches played on Saturday or Sundays.

Thursday League

This as an external competition between several local clubs, GY & Caister, Rookery, Halesworth and Bungay. It is foursomes matchplay held on Thursday evenings from 16.30 between the end of April and the end of July. Home and away fixtures with several clubs running two teams.

Your captain this year is Phil Calver and his vice-captain is Mick Turner. All assistance appreciated to make their jobs easier and more enjoyable. It is a tough gig and we should all be pleased to have people who spend a lot of their time trying to look after the members.
