John Banham Early Bird
A great turnout for a 6am start. Everyone seemed to be ready to do battle for the trophy. In the end Paul Thorpe came out the winner with 40 points followed closely by Chris Ames in 2nd and Gill Gibbs in 3rd place. The photo shows the winner, Paul Thorpe (right) being presented with the shield by John's widow, Eileen. The club captain Phil Calever assisted in the presentation.
Myhill & Cullington
The 1st round of the major Norfolk inter club competitions were held on Sunday the 24th April. Our Myhill team were away to Feltwell with and 8.00 early start. It was a tight match but ultimately we lostby 14 holes, 11 in the morning 18 and only 3 in the afternoon. Many thanks to Mick Turner who captained the side.
The Cullington team were at home to Dunston Hall and came out winners by 22 holes. A great result. Many thanks to Neville Porter who captained the side.
Mens KO's 2022
The draw has been done for the three knockout competitions. The player(s) on the top of the match should contact their opponenst with suggestions for dates. The £3 per person entry fee per knock out must be paid before the first match is played Let's have a good and competitive set of matches this year.
NGU Handicap League 2022
We have matches home and away in 2022 against Barnham Broom, Mattishall and Heacham Manor. Four ball better ball, four pairs, handicap index limit of 18. Matches played on Saturday or Sundays.

This as an external competition between several local clubs, GY & Caister, Rookery, Halesworth and Bungay. It is foursomes matchplay held on Thursday evenings from 16.30 between the end of April and the end of July. Home and away fixtures with several clubs running two teams.
